City of Chico is doing a major project on Bruce Road. Here is a great video showing the progress of the project. Footage from Highway 32 to Skyway along the Bruce Road corridor. Footage begins just south of Highway 32 and continues south to Skyway.
Bridge crews are working on creek bed restoration underneath the bridge and drilling & bonding dowels for the median curb that will be on the bridge. Roller compacted concrete (RCC) is being installed on Bruce Rd between Raley Blvd and Skyway. Both northbound and southbound lanes are being paved.
